dhk architects’ bursary programme is part of our commitment to excellence in the field of architecture.
Our bursary programme provides financial support to students who are South African citizens from previously disadvantaged sectors wishing to study architecture full time at a University or Technical University in South Africa.
Bursaries are awarded based on financial need with preference given to students with exceptional academic track record at school or university. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for architecture and commitment to furthering their career with dhk.
dhk bursary support includes tuition fees, books and a monthly stipend. Students are required to work at dhk during their holidays and in-service training periods, and on completion of their studies commit to an employment contract with the company.
Previous dhk bursary beneficiaries have successfully graduated from architectural programmes at UCT, WITS, CPUT and TUT.
Currently bursaries are offered by dhk’s Cape Town and Johannesburg offices. Applications are collected and processed throughout the course of the year. Due to the number of applications received, you may only receive feedback towards the end of the year.
