The vision is to create an iconic green-rated skyscraper on a prominent site in
the financial district precinct at the north west corner of the CBD in Cape Town,
RSA. The development scheme is financially structured to cater for separate
sectional title owners in a tower with an anticipated rentable area of 55,400m².
At 130 meters the Bree Street tower will be the tallest building in Cape Town
and the fi rst signifi cant high-rise since Safmarmine House in 1993. Located
between Buitengracht, Hans Strydom, Mechau & Bree Streets, the tower will
provide a signifi cant environmentally-sustainable addition to Cape Town’s dramatic
skyline.
The usage of the tower comprises offices & atria on the upper levels with retail,
coffee shops and a bank branch providing ground floor and street level activation
on the ground floors. Entry is via a porte-cochere type drop off on Bree
Street, with a plaza located on the corner of Hans Strydom & Buitengracht.
