Nominate Capitec Bank HQ for ArchDaily’s 2021 Building of the Year!

Capitec Bank’s innovative new headquarters, iKhaya, is nominated for ArchDaily’s 2021 Building of the Year in the “Office Category”! Designed by dhk Architects, the three-storey curvilinear building is defined by its dynamic interior architecture, which embodies the company’s progressive outlook and embraces the concept of agile working. Striking and otherworldly, dhk’s holistic architectural approach considers both the exterior and interior to optimise corporate expenditure, internal flow and sustainability – demonstrating that commercial offices can be innovative and cost-effective while driving operational efficiencies. Cast your vote here. (Bear in mind that only registered users of the My ArchDaily platform can nominate/vote. Follow this link to sign up: www.my.archdaily.com/us. Only one nomination is permitted per category).

Now for the 12th consecutive year, ArchDaily’s 2021 Building of the Year Awards is tasking its readers with the responsibility of recognizing and rewarding the projects that are making an impact in the profession. By voting, you are part of an unbiased, distributed network of jurors and peers that has elevated the most relevant projects over the past years. Over the next weeks, your collective intelligence will filter over 4,500 projects down to just 15 stand-outs – the best in each category on ArchDaily.

During the next weeks, you’ll be in charge of nominating buildings (in fifteen categories) for the shortlist, and then voting for the winners of each category. During the nominating stage, each registered user of the My ArchDaily platform will have the chance to nominate one project per category. This stage starts on January 26th and ends on February 10th. Following this, five projects per category will move into the finalists’ stage, starting February 10th and ending on February 18th. The winners will be announced on February 18th, 2021.
