This masterplan presents a visionary treatment for a new multisports arena and mixed-use complex incorporating a hotel, residential accommodation, transport hub, marina and retail units in Venice, set within a landscaped wetland and including a public piazza. The architecture for the arena was inspired by Venice’s glass-making heritage, showcasing the traditional swirling organic forms and colourful opacity of Murano glass.
